The VMG Family is angry. Over the past several weeks, we have witnessed the senseless murders of innocent African Americans. This past week alone, we have witnessed our community and colleagues at VMG receive hate messages and be arrested because of their heritage and the color of their skin. This is not the first time we have witnessed racism; it has been ingrained into our society and customs. But it will be the last time we do not act. There is systemic racism in our society. It is in our education system, our healthcare system, our justice system, and our entrepreneurial/investment ecosystem. Being "anti-racist and inclusive" is not enough. VMG is reviewing every part of our business to root out systemic racism and will require our business partners to do the same. We will no longer just be witnesses to the evil of racism; we want to be an agent of change. Judge us by our actions.
